Modern Minimalist
One of the trickiest looks to master this season is the idea of clean, modern dressing. Our resident designer Diana Kotb shows you how to accomplish this look just in time for Eid.
For me, clean, minimalist dressing is supremely luxurious. The pieces may be quite simple and modern in their execution, but the luxury comes from the sensuality of the fabric, the mixture of textures and movement as it sits on your body. Each piece playing a vital role in creating a look that may not be overtly eye catching but speaks volumes in sophistication and effortless chic.
I love the idea of layering a versatile slip dress in a neutral colour over a soft cotton top. Add a polished textured blazer such as the Windsor Blazer in Driftwood, a great pair of sneakers and a gold cuff to finish the look.

A dash of Coco
Want a fun, relaxed look this Eid that hits the right spot? Add some Diana Kotb with a dash of Coco.
You can never go wrong with a little style guidance from Coco Chanel and she is the perfect muse when it comes to the Wallis Culottes in Midnight.
Match the flattering wide leg pant with a traditional striped long sleeve top in navy and white. Add a rich burnt orange side bag, white slip on sneakers and a sculptural gold cuff to modernize the look. Finish with these House of Holland sunglasses for a little fun.

70’s SENSATION
One of the biggest trends this season is the 70’s. Think the 70’s with a mature turn in muted tones of Navy, nudes, and burnt orange complimented by modern finishes.
But how do you master the trend without feeling out of your comfort zone?
Try a subtle take with the Mrs Flute Knit by Diana Kotb for example. The fabric and minimalistic features are very modern, however it’s flute sleeves definitely hits the 70’s note. Team this practical lightweight knit with a soft maxi skirt in Ivory. Finish with an amazing pair of wooden platforms, a bold cuff and burnt orange handbag for polished 70‘s perfection.

Platforms, Jimmy Choo.
LAYERED AMBITION
The key to trans-seasonal dressing is Layering, says Diana Kotb.
“I love the idea of creating a look that is individual yet functional depending on the weather. Try styling a white asymmetric mini dress with tailored cigarette pants and a sharp blazer on top. The Windsor Blazer in Midnight is a great choice as it isn’t your basic blazer and it’s flute sleeves are very on trend. For a more relaxed take on this look, leave the blazer open and team it with a pair of slides and a hessian pouch. The monochromatic colour palette is a sensible choice when adding layers”.
